Does The Diet Solution Work?

The question we get asked about DSP most often is: Does The Diet Solution Program work? My answer isn’t what you might expect however. I honestly think that DSP will work very well for some people – and not well for others. Of course many diets are this way, but I don’t think there’s much gray area with the DSP diet.

There are 2 reasons why I think this:

  1. Metabolic Type Diets require that you figure out your metabolic type using an included test. This will determine which types of foods are best suited to your metabolism. If you don’t like and won’t eat the foods that are best suited to your metabolism, this diet won’t work for you.
  2. The DSP Diet doesn’t focus heavily on exercise, and if you don’t have a good exercise program in place that can undermine your diet. The good news is that Isabel De Los Rios does give you some excellent exercise program options that you can include in your DSP Diet purchase.

The Diet Solution Basics

Isabel teaches us that different bodies have different metabolisms, which makes perfect sense as we’re all different, right? By taking Isabel’s straightforward test you determine your specific metabolism, which then determines which foods you should eat to lose weight most effectively. Sounds pretty simple – and it is.

This is why The Diet Solution works so well. By matching your diet to your metabolism type, you can eat foods that are easier for your body to process, and then your body can more easily burn off fat too!

3 Steps to Success:

Step 1: Determine Your Metabolic Type: Isabel De Los Rios explains how we all fit into one of three metabolic types, and that depending on your type you need different amounts of macronutrients – protein, carbs, and fats. This is why some diet programs work really well for some people – and don’t work at all for others.

You determine your metabolic type by taking a simple, 10-minute test, and then you match your results to a chart that tells you which foods best support your metabolic type, so that you have better success losing weight.

Step 2: Create Your Meal Plan: Next Isabel De Los Rios talks about calories, and explains that not all calories are created equal. Depending on your metabolic type, some calories – such as simple carbs for example – will make you fat, whereas they may be fine for others.

While you want to plan your meals around the right metabolic choices (from step 2), the quality of the food you eat is very important toward your success.

I know that the jury is still out on the importance of some organic foods, but for example: organic eggs contain 3 times more vitamin D, more vitamins A, B, more Omega3 fats, and 1/3 less cholesterol! There’s definitely a benefit to eating organics in some case, and clearly sticking to this program has worked WELL for Isabel!
